Gear That I Personally Use and Recommend

In over thirty years of filming nature and wildlife, I’ve used a lot of camera gear. I mean A LOT of camera gear.

Most of what I used came from recommendations by friends who were photographers or filmmakers. Other gear I purchased from doing a lot of research.

Most of the gear was exactly what I needed. Sometimes however I found that some gear didn’t suit my needs or style of shooting. You won’t find any of that gear listed below. If I don’t believe in it, I’m not going to recommend that you buy it either.

I’m asked all the time what gear I use, so I thought I’d share with you not only what I recommend, but what I use.

Amazon and B&H Photo is where I buy the vast majority of my gear. They have good prices, easy return policies and most of all,  are reputable.  All the equipment listed below are affiliate links for Amazon and B&H Photo. You don’t pay any more but I do get a couple of dollars for referring you.

It’s a win-win. You get some great gear at the same price you’d normally pay and I get a dollar or two to keep this site up and running.

Thank you in advance for your support!
